Introducing Myself

MY LYFE

     People are the result of the efforts we make in favor of our well-being, so I tried to take advantage and get the best out of each situation. Religion has been a fundamental part of my life. I was born and I was formed in a Christian home Catholic. From a very young age, my faith in Jesus Christ was instilled in me. My first training was in the catechism which culminates with the 1st communion. Then, become part of the youth ministry. At the age of 17 I started the course for catechists in the Paul VI formation center, located in San Francisco de Macorís. At the end of this instruction, go to the beautiful task of being catechist, leading third-level children to make their confirmation in the Christian faith. In the recent years I have been a sub-coordinator of a group from the youth municipality of Castillo province Duarte.

    Education is in my life, the only way to be a productive entity  in our society, which is why I have sought to reach the maximum intellectual development. I did my first studies at the basic school Juana Díaz Abajo. I did my secondary studies at the technical school Maria Paulino Vda. Perez, where I was recognized several times as a meritorious student. I entered the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo in the degree of computer science. After four semesters I discovered my true vocation, which is teaching, so I decided to transfer to the beautiful career of Modern Languages English Mention.

     As a young man from a family with limited resources, I have always tried to help as possible, looking for ways to get money. From a very early age I worked as substitute for some teachers while I was still studying the basic level. At de age of 15 I did a lot agricultural work. I got job as a bricklayer's assistant, I even worked inside a landfill in a solid waste classification project. My mother taught me how to use the sewing machine, so use my knowledge to work as a tailor. The repair of cellular was another facet that generated me gains. I learned how to cut mens hair on my own. Maintenance of residential electrical systems  is another trade in which I have incurred. Painting is one of my passions and thanks to God I have been able to develop this talent , making murals in different schools. These have been some of the tasks that I have learned and to which I have dedicated myself throughout my lifetime.

On page 161 of our text book we find an explanation of the grammar talking about verb + gerund or infinitive, which says that using the same verb among gerund or infinitive the meaning will be different, but it does not apply to all the verbs.      In the time we live, people have hundreds of goals that lead them to enroll in hundreds of activities. To fulfill a goal such as buying a car, a house, a new telephone, filling people with satisfaction, the accumulation of material goods has become the way in which society measures success. But there is a very important aspect that has been left aside, and it is the spirit. This is like a container that is filling as we live. It is like filling a container with figures of different shapes, even if it is completed to the top it will always have empty spaces, but if water is poured, it will fill it completely.
