Hello students and professor. 
I know some of you already know me, for those who don’t, my name is Dorka De Dios.

I’m major in modern languages at UASD university. I am Dominican and I come from Bonao, an small city in the center of the country. One of my pastimes is ride a bike. I Iike to see funny things on Facebook, talk with friends, travel and have good times with my little son. I use to be very honest, most of the time I don’t hide what I want to say, I’m friendly but at the same time kinda quiet. My friends say that I’m frivolous and sometimes a hater, lol. New experiences are always welcome in my life. I hate fake people, injustices and our government. Well. I think that’s enough, bye!

On page 161 of our text book we find an explanation of the grammar talking about verb + gerund or infinitive, which says that using the same verb among gerund or infinitive the meaning will be different, but it does not apply to all the verbs. I will write the examples with my own words. Verb + gerund She will never forget getting a ride into a haunted castle . Meaning: She will not erase that experience of her mind.      In the time we live, people have hundreds of goals that lead them to enroll in hundreds of activities. To fulfill a goal such as buying a car, a house, a new telephone, filling people with satisfaction, the accumulation of material goods has become the way in which society measures success. But there is a very important aspect that has been left aside, and it is the spirit. This is like a container that is filling as we live.
