MODALS-DEGREES OF CERTAINTY

   1. Some teachers have a strange aptitude, besides there are not responsible. I think  many of them must be tired of being teachers.

    2. The students shouldn't have been so irresponsible about their homeworks because in the end their grade low.
 
    3. Honesty is the best, but sometimes students may have cheated in the text because teachers don't understand many points in all.


     4. Some people think that she is stupid but they could have analyzed the psichological factors of the personality. At the end,  the truth is that she blocks herself  when someone speaks to her.

     5. He couldn't be a liar. He has an honest personality.

On page 161 of our text book we find an explanation of the grammar talking about verb + gerund or infinitive, which says that using the same verb among gerund or infinitive the meaning will be different, but it does not apply to all the verbs.      In the time we live, people have hundreds of goals that lead them to enroll in hundreds of activities. To fulfill a goal such as buying a car, a house, a new telephone, filling people with satisfaction, the accumulation of material goods has become the way in which society measures success.
